FlashAcademy® is an end-to-end digital EAL assessment and learning platform for UK schools and trusts. The learning app interface can be set to 48 home languages, helping schools build English proficiency from a new EAL arrival’s first assessment through to fluency.

The platform combines three elements to provide a whole-school approach to EAL:

Digital assessment benchmarks each learner’s proficiency across reading, writing, speaking and listening from day one.
The learning app provides adaptive, curriculum-aligned lessons for Key Stages 1 to 4 that develop English proficiency through phonics, spelling, grammar, pronunciation practice and subject-specific vocabulary. Content is delivered at the right level for each pupil, while instant feedback supports independent learning and helps pupils access the curriculum with confidence.
The Teacher Dashboard tracks learner progress in real time and allows staff to generate reports at pupil, class or school level to evidence progress and support feedback at parents’ evenings as well as trust-wide and Ofsted reporting.
