When Anne Fine became Children’s Laureate, she set up Bookplates UK as a way to encourage children and schools to celebrate their favourite books.

With the help of some of the UK’s top illustrators, Bookplates UK has created a bank of over 250 bookplates that can be printed off and pasted into the front of a book so that everyone can see who it belongs to. The bookplates come in a range of sizes, and there are colour as well as black and white illustrations. There is also a selection of ‘This book was donated by’ bookplates –  a great way of recognising (and encouraging) donations to a class or school library.

Cost: Free, as long as the bookplates are not used for commercial purposes.
