Book Club Day UK is an annual celebration of books, conversation and the connections we make through reading together. Book Club Day 2026 takes place on 11th September and the theme for this year is Reading Rebels.

Book Club Day is designed to encourage more people to join or set up a book club to discover the positive impact of reading and talking about books together. Resources to support Book Club Day UK include:

The Book Club Hub, an open access platform created to connect and support book clubs across the UK. The Hub allows school book club leaders to apply for free sets of books and other offers from publishers in return for reviews, download free discussion guides and activity sheets for selected titles, post online review and create a wish list of future book club reads.
