- The Story Museum also offers on-site and in-school CPD sessions for teachers and librarians. Sessions include exploring the role of Oral Storytelling in the learning environment, Oral Storytelling for Emotional Literacy and ways to Build Narrative Environments.
- Young people aged 7-16 can apply to help the museum develop its story collection through the Collections Club and Youth Collections Ambassador programmes. Club members and Ambassadors review books and make recommendations, take part in the collections development process and help shape the museum’s exhibitions and displays. They also receive regular newsletters and a number of free visits to the Museum per year.
