The UK Literacy Association’s (UKLA) 61st International Conference has now come to a close. It welcomed delegates from across the world to explore the role of critical imagination in language and literacy education through an extensive series of presentations.

The 2027 International Conference will be held in Manchester, under the theme of ‘Interrogating the Technologies of Language and Literacy Education: Making Meaning Through, Despite, and Beyond the Digital’. Cost: Early bird tickets available until the end of March: £305/£380 for UKLA members/non-members for the full weekend course. Single day tickets also available. Standard price: £335/£420 for UKLA members/non-members.
