Reading Well is an initiative that provides book recommendations to help people understand and manage their mental health and wellbeing. There are Reading Well collections for all ages, including:

  • Reading Well for children – a collection of 33 titles aimed at children aged 7-11 to help them understand their feelings, deal with worries and cope with tough times.
  • Reading Well for teens – a collection of 27 titles that provide information, advice and support for young people aged 13-18 to help them manage their emotions, boost their confidence and cope with difficult times.

Reading Well titles are available to borrow for free from public libraries. Many of the titles are also available in Welsh.

 Cost: Free.
