The UKLA International Conference is an annual conference that draws speakers from across the globe to share research, expert practice and ideas covering all aspects of literacy. The 2026 International Conference will take place on 3rd -4th July at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. The theme for this year is Nurturing Critical Imagination Through Language and Literacy Education. Further details to be announced.

Cost: Early bird tickets available until the end of March: £305/£380 for UKLA members/non-members for the full weekend course. Single day tickets also available. Standard price: £335/£420 for UKLA members/non-members.
