Information about the 24/25 BookSlam are coming soon.
BookSlam is designed to be flexible and can be run either as a whole-class activity or with smaller book groups. Schools can enter as many groups or classes as they wish.
To enter the competition, schools must:
- Choose a book to read and discuss from a recommended reading list.
- Create a promotional video for a second book chosen from the reading list.
Schools first enter a county round for the chance to go through to the national competition and the chance to win a BookSlam trophy and books for their school.
Supporting resources are available on request.
Timetable:
- The deadline for registering is mid-January.
Cost: Free, but schools will need to buy sets of books for participating pupils.
