The Winter Mini Challenge is a sister programme to the Summer Reading Challenge. It is designed to tackle the holiday reading ‘dip’ by encouraging children aged 4-11 to keep reading over the winter holidays.

To complete the Winter Mini Challenge, children must read three or more books of their choice between 1st December 2024 and 20th February 2025. Fact books, story books, joke books, picture books, audio books and e-books all count. Children can then sign up on the dedicated website to log and review their reads and unlock their Winter Mini Challenge certificate.

Cost: Free
