The Edinburgh International Book Festival’s Schools Programme is a free literature festival for primary and secondary schools that provides access to some of the biggest names writing for children and young people today. Details of the 2025 programme to be announced.
Tickets for in-person events can be booked using an online booking form from April until June. Live-streamed events will be available to book from early June right up until the event starts.

About Edinburgh International Book Festival: Founded in 1983, the Edinburgh International Book Festival is the world’s largest public celebration of the written word, providing audiences with the opportunity to engage with the world’s greatest and emerging writers, thinkers, artists and performers. It also works year-round with partners in the local community to help foster a lifelong love of reading.
