The Island of Brilliant is a monthly children’s book review podcast hosted by award-winning authors Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Nadia Shireen.

Marooned on a desert island with no form of entertainment other than a pile of children’s books, the two authors share their book recommendations and reflections on the world of children’s books. With additional insights and inspiration from a guest author or illustrator each month, plus further reviews by children’s literature critic Emily Drabble, the hour-long podcast is an entertaining and informative guide to ‘all that is brilliant’ about children’s books.

Cost: Free.

About The Island of Brilliant: The Island of Brilliant launched in April 2023 as a way to encourage discussion about and raise awareness of children’s books.
