Oscar’s Book Prize 2024 – Shortlist Announced!

The shortlist for this year’s Oscar’s Book Prize was announced on 17th April. First awarded in 2014, Oscar’s Book Prize is an annual award for the best pre-school book of the year that celebrates a child’s love for magical stories.

This year’s shortlist was chosen by a panel of judges made up of Librarian of the Year 2020 Zoey Dixon, author/illustrator and former Oscar’s Book Prize winner Chris Haughton, newly appointed Oscar’s Book Club Ambassador Rachel Riley, UK Books Country Manager at Amazon.co.uk Lisa de Meyer, and co-founder of the award Viveka Alvestrand.
